Refund policy
Clear, fair rules for getting your money back.
1.Free cancellation window
You can cancel any booking free of charge up to 2 hours before scheduled departure. The full ticket price plus any service fees are refunded to your original payment method.
2.Late cancellation
Cancellation within 2 hours of departure: 50% refund of the ticket price. Service fees are not refunded.
No-show (you did not board): No refund. However, if you let us know within 24 hours with a valid reason (medical, family emergency), we will review case by case.
3.Operator-initiated cancellation
If the operator cancels your trip for any reason (mechanical, weather, low bookings), you automatically receive: 100% refund of all charges, plus a complimentary seat on the next available departure of the same route.
4.Refund timeline
HesabPay: instant — within minutes.
Mobile money: 1 to 4 hours.
Bank card (Visa/Mastercard): 3 to 7 business days, depending on your issuing bank.
5.How to request a refund
For free cancellations: just cancel the booking in My bookings. The refund is automatic.
For other cases: My bookings → Refund requests → submit the form with a reason. We respond within 24 hours.
6.Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you can appeal by contacting refunds@afghanbus.af with your booking code. We review appeals within 5 business days and may offer goodwill credits at our discretion.
